💙🧡Branford High School will resume with students tomorrow 10/11.
We will also be administering the Reading Retake test.

The Suwannee county School District will resume all regular operations tomorrow Friday October the 11th.
Thank you.

Students within Mr. Hicks’ Honor Classes 3rd and 6th periods presented their respected research projects based on Medieval Christian Europe. We are very proud of the hard work and dedication that these students have put into their research project and college-level research paper. The paper required the student to write a title page, 2 page body paragraph, with a bibliography. Students were required to conduct their research only from .edu and .gov websites for citing evidence to state their claim.

🧡💙We have power and can't wait to see all of our students tomorrow!!

🧡💙We are currently waiting for power to be restored to many schools/buildings here in Branford. Based on these factors and in order to keep everyone safe, we will not have PD day Monday, September 30. We ask that all 12 month employees come to work (if they are able) to assist in verifying that all classrooms/office spaces are safe. We will make a decision about Tuesday after we are able to assess each space Monday. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Stay safe!

What an amazing turnout this morning for See you at the Stadium 💙🧡. Its moments like this that make you #Branfordproud

Lords, Knights, and Serfs (peasants) made up the feudal society of the medieval system.
👑Lords were in control of the land and had an obligation and mutual right with their serfs to provide homes, land, and protection to their peasant workers.
⚔️🐎Knights were warriors who rode horses and began their strict training at the age of 7. They were expected to honor the Code of Chivarly.
🌾Serfs or peasants were bound to the land and had to work the land or the fief, build/repair bridges and roads, and harvest crops for their lords. A peasants diet consisted of black bread vegetables. Granted by their lords, they could eat meat during the Christmas and Easter holidays.
Students here are representing the different classes of the medieval system in Mr. Hicks’ 3rd period World History Honors class.
