In order to participate in any extra-curricular activities, included but not limited to: Clubs, sports, band, club field trips, general field trips, club activities during the school day, Prom, Homecoming activities, Grad Bash, ect. Students at Branford High School must meet the following benchmarks.
** To participate in a sport or school activity students must be in school for the entire school day unless they provide a doctor's note.

We are excited to welcome our students and families back for the 2025-2026 school year!
Each of our schools is ready to greet you during their Meet Your Teacher event. Please find your child’s school listed below and make note of the date and time:
Branford Elementary School: Friday, August 8 | 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. (Grades K–5)
Branford High School: Thursday, August 7 | 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. (Grades 6–12)
Suwannee High School: Thursday, August 7 | 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. (9th Grade Only) Schedules will be available via FOCUS or at the school beginning this day.
Suwannee Middle School: Friday, August 8 | 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. (6th Grade Only) Schedules available on FOCUS starting this day.
Suwannee Opportunity School: Friday, August 8 | 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. (All Grades)
Suwannee Pineview Elementary: Thursday, August 7
• Kindergarten Orientation & Meet Your Teacher: 9:30 a.m.
• Grades 1–5: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Suwannee Riverside Elementary: Friday, August 8 | 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (Pre-K–5)
Suwannee Springcrest Elementary: Friday, August 8 | 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. (Pre-K–5)

**High School students interested in starting dual enrollment are required to attend a mandatory information session with their parent/guardian. This meeting is for anyone that did not attend our April session. ***Current dual enrollment students and their parents/guardians are strongly encouraged to attend an information session to get the most up-to-date information on the dual enrollment program.

💛💙🧡Congratulations to our Branford Middle School and High School FFA programs and their sponsors Taylor Cole and Stacy Young. They had a very successful trip this past week!!! Also a special thanks to Superintendent Ronnie Gray and Principal Carl Manna for attending and showing their support for such an amazing program. 🏅Chapter SAE Award for the senior chapter 🏅 won 1st for the Advocacy Award for both chapters 🏅 Premier Award for the senior chapter 🏅National chapter for both chapters 🏅 Caige Tidwell was a finalists for his Diversified Ag and Forage proficiencies! He won in the Diversified Ag division and will move on to the National Level! 🏅 Aubrey Wood was a finalist for her Agriculture services proficiency 🏅Taylor Turner was a finalists for her Forest management proficiency 🏅 Caige Tidwell was a finalists for the Star Chapter Award 🏅Tolby Terry received his State Degree (more of our students received the degree but were unable to make the convention) 🏅Austin Humphries was recognized for receiving his American Degree (more of our students received the degree but were unable to make the convention) 🏅 The middle school chapter was recognized for being 5th in Farm Business Management and 5th in Food Science. As well as Andrew morales was recognized for being the high individual in Farm Business as well 🏅The senior chapter was recognized for being 3rd in Milk Quality and Products and being State Champions in Farm Business Management! Isaac Pitts was recognized for being the high individual in Farm Business as well 🏅Ailine Morales competed this week in the State Spanish Creed LDE and placed 4th in the state! 🏅The Agriculture Issues Team consisting of JA Weisner, Ava Floyd, Natalie Clark, Luke Garcia, Aubrey Wood, Sadie Miller, and Ansleigh Young competed this week and placed 4th in the state! 🏅The Opening and Closing Ceromonies team consisting of Morgan Patterson, Addison Barnes, Calyssa Dicks, Scarlett Suggs, Isabel Ballentine, Kenna Corbin and Brayden Scaggs competed this week and won 1st place, making them the State Champions for 2025!
