As part of our Suwannee Steps Up Service Project, Branford High School is collecting gifts to participate in the Branford Elf Hunt this Christmas. Gifts can be dropped off in the box in Mrs. Taylor's office. All gifts should be between $1-$5. 6th-7th grade bring in gifts for kids 0-4 years old, 8th-9th being in gifts for 5-9 year olds and 10th-12th bring in gifts for 10-14 year olds.


7th grade science students are learning about the Geosphere. They got hands on with the Rock Cycle and modeled weathering, erosion, and deposition. Then, they added various amounts of pressure to demonstrate the differences between compaction and cementation! They learned that science really does “rock!” 😁

AP Psychology is studying the experimental method. Today we put the experimental method to practice by completing a Chocolate Chip Cookie Lab! The goal was to apply all the scientific method terminology throughout the lab. Of course, after gathering the data, they were able to enjoy the cookies. 🍪 😋

Mrs. Cole’s middle school Ag classes reinforced what they learned this week about the 6 parts that make up the FFA emblem by making a cookie version! We even had a special visitor who joined for the lab, Deputy Harris. Understanding the importance and meaning behind the FFA emblem is a key element of our class!
