Today was a special afternoon celebrating our Branford High School retirees and the years of dedication they have given to our students and school community. 💐
Thank you to the faculty and staff members who helped provide the wonderful food and desserts and to everyone who helped make the luncheon so meaningful. We are so thankful for the time, care, and heart these individuals poured into BHS over the years. Once a Buccaneer, always a Buccaneer!

🎓Important information for Senior Week

As we wrap up the school year, we want to wish the very best to five longtime members of the BHS family as they prepare for retirement.
Thank you for the years of dedication, support, and care you’ve given to our students, staff, and community. Your impact on BHS over the years has meant more than words can say, and you will truly be missed around campus.
Wishing you all the happiness and relaxation that retirement brings — you’ve earned it!

Senior Spotlight - Emma Soride! Emma is taking her talents to Chowan University where she will continue her volleyball career as a four-year student-athlete while majoring in Psychology. After earning her bachelor’s degree, Emma plans to join the Air Force while continuing to work toward her ultimate goal of becoming a sports psychologist.
Emma shared, “If it wasn’t for me believing in God’s plan for me, I would have never made it this far. My goal is to help other athletes who have gone through the same trauma and struggles as me and be there for them through their hardest moments.”
We are so proud of Emma’s determination, faith, and heart for helping others. Congratulations, Emma — we can’t wait to see all you accomplish on and off the court!

These certifications represent hard work, dedication, skill, and a commitment to excellence in the welding trade. Achievements like this are not easy to earn, and both of these boys should be proud of the effort they put in to reach this milestone.
The future is bright for these young welders, and I’m excited to see where their talents and work ethic take them next. Keep pushing forward and continue building your craft. Proud of you both! 🔥⚒️
