Congrats to our debate/speech team bringing home the hardware in their first competition! JA took 1st in Extemporaneous Speaking, Samantha Ray took 1st in Original Oratory, and Kiera Grace took 2nd in Declamation Speaking! Great job by the whole team!

Branford High School was happy to host former 1st Lt. of the United States Army Elijah Perkins and his service dog Tobey today.  His message of perseverance came through loud and clear.  He reminded students and staff “you can’t heal what you hide,” and asking for and taking help is not a weakness.  His nonprofit Pop Smoke K9s for Veterans connects veterans with highly trained service dogs at no cost.  Most importantly it provides a life line to veterans and their families. ❤️🤍💙

Today is the day! Girls Golf Regionals--they are the only public school out of nine teams competing today at Eagle Harbor. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼💥💥💥⛳⛳⛳ A special thanks to some of their biggest teacher fans at BHS for feeding the crew last night! This past Tuesday was our Pink Out Day to support Breast Cancer Awareness 🎀💕. The Culinary Arts Department decided to deliver special pink treats to the faculty and staff as a surprise!!

The teachers had a little fun today on Halloween by hosting a Crocktober fest competition!!! Soups and Chilies were made and taste-tested by the faculty and staff and then voted for the BEST...our winner was our Assistant Principal Mrs. Taylor 🧡💙
