🧡💙HUGE congratulations to the Branford High School Girls Cross Country team! In their first STATE appearance in school history, these athletes battled it out with the best in Florida and finished 21st out of 32 Class 1A teams. What an unforgettable moment for this program and this amazing group of girls.

Congrats to our debate/speech team bringing home the hardware in their first competition! JA took 1st in Extemporaneous Speaking, Samantha Ray took 1st in Original Oratory, and Kiera Grace took 2nd in Declamation Speaking! Great job by the whole team!

Branford High School was happy to host former 1st Lt. of the United States Army Elijah Perkins and his service dog Tobey today.  His message of perseverance came through loud and clear.  He reminded students and staff “you can’t heal what you hide,” and asking for and taking help is not a weakness.  His nonprofit Pop Smoke K9s for Veterans connects veterans with highly trained service dogs at no cost.  Most importantly it provides a life line to veterans and their families. ❤️🤍💙
