With a deep passion for developing young men both on and off the field, Coach Dettor is excited to build on the strong foundation and winning tradition of Branford Football. Coach Dettor shared that what drew him most to Branford was the opportunity to help shape student-athletes into adults who can positively impact their community. He also expressed gratitude for the program built by former Head Coach Tim Clark and looks forward to continuing that success.
Beyond football, this move is especially meaningful for he and his wife Mary, and their family, as they return to Florida to be closer to extended family. Coach Dettor comes to Branford after time spent at Coffee High School, where he says he built lasting relationships and gained valuable experience alongside some of the best coaches in the Southeast.
“I’m looking forward to continuing the winning tradition of Branford Buccaneer Football and helping our players grow into great fathers, husbands, and members of the community one day,” he shared. "Branford is a proud community that supports their school and their students on and off the field, and it's a place where Friday night lights still matter."
Please join us in welcoming Coach and Mrs. Dettor and their family to Branford!

Students currently in grades 8-11 will soon begin meeting with the Guidance Office for their annual Credit Chats.
During these short meetings, students will sit down with a guidance staff member to:
• Review credits that have already been earned
• Discuss what credits are still needed for graduation
• Look ahead at what next school year may look like
• Choose electives for the upcoming year
These meetings are an important step in helping students stay on track for graduation and plan for their future.
Parents: If you would like to talk with your student about their academic plans, goals, or elective choices, now is a great time to start those conversations at home!
Credit Chats will take place March 30 – April 10.
