What an incredible turnout for our BHS Education Fair 2026! We are so thankful for the students, families, teachers, staff, and community members who came out to make the evening such a success. Monday, February 16th is a PD Day — No school for students. Staff will be on campus for professional development. Classes will resume Tuesday. Enjoy your three-day weekend!

💕 Even though Valentine’s Day falls on Saturday this year, delivery guidelines will still be in effect this Friday. No deliveries will be accepted after 1:00 PM. Students who ride the bus home may not take glass items or balloons on the bus — please make other transportation arrangements if needed. We appreciate your cooperation and support.

This week World History and US History students completed two projects for Read, White and Blue Literacy Week.  The first project of the week required students to write a blackout poem using a text sheet from an old English Dictionary.  Students had to use the existing text to create their poem and then blackout or draw art to complement their poem.  Their second activity was to create a piece of static art.  The Declaration of Independence has a lot in common with static art; both are set and unchanging, both are persuasive or evoke emotions and both are carefully constructed.  The students only had two instructions: it had to convey the emotions of the Declaration of Independence and they had to be creative.  As you can see from these pictures the students have gone above and beyond with their projects.  

Branford High School students brought creativity during Literacy Week with a Shoebox Parade! Students researched and designed shoebox floats highlighting influential scientists, engineers, inventors, and inventions from that represent important moments in U.S. history.
