Lords, Knights, and Serfs (peasants) made up the feudal society of the medieval system.
👑Lords were in control of the land and had an obligation and mutual right with their serfs to provide homes, land, and protection to their peasant workers.
⚔️🐎Knights were warriors who rode horses and began their strict training at the age of 7. They were expected to honor the Code of Chivarly.
🌾Serfs or peasants were bound to the land and had to work the land or the fief, build/repair bridges and roads, and harvest crops for their lords. A peasants diet consisted of black bread vegetables. Granted by their lords, they could eat meat during the Christmas and Easter holidays.
Students here are representing the different classes of the medieval system in Mr. Hicks’ 3rd period World History Honors class.
